bilateral ego

breeze steals in
cooling the sweat on my thigh
you pull close
daring intrusion
i count three/four
your chest beats against my back
time signature to enter my dreams
i dance on the moon's surface
legs and arms splaying
my homage to the girl within

sunlight divides
burning consequence on bodies
i push away
awakening frustration
in this vacuum, my sighs,
dissonance
against the humming of new day
ensnaring deity in morality
the goddess stretches---
